The inspiration behind most of my pieces are based on abstraction, emotion, and my past experiences. When I create abstract art, I tend to use it as my mental and emotional outlet. Additionally, my style is greatly influenced by a great Mexican and emotional artist named, Frida Kahlo. Kahlo is such an inspiration to me because of her ability to capture her life moments, emotions, and past experiences. My artworks all tend to have an emotional meaning behind them and I aim to use colors that speak to me. I also do my best to concentrate on my themes and use my creativity within each of my pieces. I also plan to expand my portfolio and create more works that involve the overcoming of my hardships and that are a reflection of my past experiences. Finally, with the works that I have so far, I believe that they represent a part of me that I would like to share with my audience. My main goal for my audience is to take them on a journey and to have a glimpse of my inner thoughts and feelings through my artwork. This in turn, I hope allows for my audience to connect with my artwork and reflect on their life and past experiences.
